343 Industries and Microsoft shocked the world when they released the Halo Infinite multiplayer mode a full month before the game's planned December 8 release date. While this is technically a beta for the Halo Infinite multiplayer experience, all progress will carry over to the final game come its proper launch on December 8, so it's effectively early access to the game. As one might imagine, all of the campaign achievements are currently unobtainable, but there are plenty of multiplayer achievements that Halo Infinite players can unlock right now.

The Halo Infinite multiplayer options include Quick Play, Ranked, and Big Team Battle, but there's also Bot Bootcamp. Bot Bootcamp pairs Halo Infinite players with human-controlled teammates and tasks them with taking out bots. And while the Halo Infinite bots can sometimes give players a run for their money, they are generally much easier to fight than human players. As a result, Bot Bootcamp is a great way for Halo Infinite players to get the more challenging multiplayer achievements.

Many of the Halo Infinite multiplayer achievements say that players need to be completing tasks in "matchmade" games, and it seems that Bot Bootcamp fits that criteria. It's possible that Bot Bootcamp is considered a matchmade activity since Halo Infinite players are getting paired with others as their teammates, but it's also possible that this isn't intentional and will be changed in a future update, so fans should keep that in mind.

Regardless, Halo Infinite players can currently unlock multiplayer achievements in the Bot Bootcamp mode, which could be helpful for some of the more difficult achievements as bots are easier to kill than human-controlled players. For example, playing against bots in a game of Halo Infinite Oddball makes it much easier to run up and get three kills with the ball for that achievement. It is also much easier to unlock a Halo Infinite Mythic Medal by playing against the bots, which is also necessary to unlock one of the achievements in the game.

Even with Bot Bootcamp available, there are some achievements that will take Halo Infinite players a significant amount of time to complete. For example, there is an achievement for fully completing a Halo Infinite Battle Pass, which is proving to be an incredibly difficult and time-consuming task as the only way to get Battle Pass XP is by completing the daily and weekly challenges, as opposed to winning matches and getting kills like normal.

Despite these difficulties, Halo Infinite players should still be able to make significant progress toward unlocking all of the game's achievements. However, they will have to wait for the Halo Infinite Campaign to drop on December 8 before they can truly complete the game.

Halo Infinite launches December 8 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
