The Halo franchise has become one of the most well-known and best-selling video game series since its release in 2001. The next upcoming game in the series, Halo Infinite, had a delayed release and is now expected sometime in fall 2021. It will be the fourteenth game in the series, but the sixth main entry following the beloved and iconic character of Master Chief. Despite the delay in release, many fans are excited to delve back into the world of Halo once Halo Infinite is ready for the public.
Due to the well-known nature of the Halo franchise, it’s no surprise that some of its characters have become Funko Pop’d—turned into chibi-style versions of beloved (or loathed) characters that fans can collect as each new figure releases. Every Funko Pop listed for the Halo series will have a corresponding value attached, which is estimated by PPG (Pop Price Guide), but what these figures are worth may not actually be how much they’re selling for—that number could be higher or lower than the estimated worth.
Master Chief
Probably the most iconic character of the Halo series, Master Chief has 11 different variations of Funko Pop figures. Some were exclusive to certain stores, while others were available from a variety of retailers. The majority of these Pops are vaulted, meaning they are no longer in production. However, with Halo Infinite releasing soon, there are other Master Chief figures that are readily available.
Master Chief (Blue)
This Master Chief was a Barnes and Noble exclusive, turning the iconic green armor to a teal color. This is also the second most expensive iteration of the character, clocking in at an estimated worth of $470, and is vaulted.
Master Chief
Released in 2013, this Funko Pop figure captures the classic image of Master Chief in his armor and gold-tinted helmet while holding a gun. Upon release, this figure was available from a few different retailers, but it’s now vaulted. This figure has an estimated worth of $320.
Master Chief (Halo 4)
Also released in 2013, this Master Chief figure is much more refined and part of the Halo 4 series of Funko Pops. The armor is a darker green compared to others, and the gun is more detailed. This figure currently clocks in at an estimated worth of $125.
Master Chief (Halo 4, Gold)
This is the most expensive Master Chief Funko Pop! to date. This figure was released in 2015 as a Blockbuster exclusive, and looks almost identical to the Halo 4 iteration of Master Chief, except this one has golden armor. It has an estimated value of $650.
Master Chief With Active Camo
This translucent figure is an interesting change of design from the other Master Chief figures. An E3 2018 exclusive, this Funko Pop has an estimated worth of $30.
Master Chief With Cortana
Players will remember the powerful duo of Master Chief and Cortana throughout the Halo series, so this Funko Pop! commemorates the relationship between him and the AI. This figure was not exclusive to any retailers and is currently valued at $19.
Master Chief With Cortana (Gold)
This variation of the original figure came out in 2019, a little over a year after the original’s release. Painted gold completely, this Funko Pop was only exclusive to the Halo Outpost Discovery convention held last summer. It’s estimated worth is currently $70.
Master Chief With Energy Sword
A GameStop exclusive, this Funko Pop! looks about the same as the translucent E3 exclusive, except this one is colored with Master Chief’s traditional armor and a blue energy sword. Currently, this figure is valued at $60.
Master Chief With MA-40 Assault Rifle
Released in 2020, this Funko is an upgraded version of the original Master Chief figures. This is currently available from a variety of retailers with an estimated value of $17.
Master Chief With MA-40 Assault Rifle in Active Camo
Like the E3 exclusive, this figure is translucent and only exclusive to Target. Only released in 2020, this figure is still readily available and has an estimated value of $20.
Master Chief With MA-40 Assault Rifle in Hydro Deco
The last of the Master Chief Funko Pops, this figure was also released in 2020 and is still available. However, it’s a Best Buy exclusive, so fans will have to look there to find this Funko. Though it’s still available at retail price, this Pop! is valued at $38.
Buck
Introduced in Halo 3: ODST, Edward Buck is a main character throughout the game and voiced by Nathan Fillion. Though his Funko Pop doesn’t model Fillion’s likeness, it is an adorably stylized version of the character in full armor. Released in 2018, this figure is has an estimated value of $20.
Arbiter
Fans of the series will remember the events of Halo 2 where, much like in The Last of Us 2, players were forced to play as the Arbiter. This decision received mixed reviews but ultimately helped enhance the overall story Halo was trying to tell. This figure has two variations—a regular one that has an estimated value of $46, and a Best Buy exclusive Gold version, valued at $75.
Cortana
This iconic AI was originally released in 2013 and is now no longer in production. She’s got the look of an early Funko Pop and is currently valued at $200.
Grunt (Minor)
The lowest of the Covenant ranks in the Army, this figure creates a stylized version of the alien from the Halo games. Perhaps surprisingly, this is actually the most expensive Halo Funko Pop, clocking in at $650 as an estimated value.
Sgt Johnson
Sergeant Avery Johnson played a key role throughout Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3. His Funko Pop! likeness had two variations; one regular, valued at $9, and the other is what’s known as a “Chase.” These Pops are harder to come by and are a unique variation of the original figure. In Sgt Johnson’s case, his Chase figure includes him smoking a cigar and is valued at $26.
Spartan Warriors
These super soldiers are found throughout the Halo games and have four different variations. The Spartan Warrior Blue has an estimated value of $100, the Spartan Warrior Red is estimated at $115, and both Spartan Warrior Yellow and Spartan Warrior Green are estimated at $290. The latter two are more expensive because they were San Diego Comic-Con exclusives.
Spartan Mark VII
This specialty armor has three different Funko Pop! variations, all of which came out in 2020. The Spartan Mark VII With Shock Rifle has an estimated value of $11 and is a GameStop exclusive, while the Spartan Mark VII With VK78 Commando Rifle (both regular and Blue versions) do not have PPG prices because they’re so new.
As mentioned, there are some new Halo Pops, having just come out last year, while others haven’t been in circulation for a while. Fans and Funko collectors definitely won’t want to wait to get their hands on these items, especially seeing how their worth only skyrockets over time.
