Few other video game franchises can claim to have influenced the medium and gaming industry quite like Halo did back when it first released. Spawning seven mainline titles, numerous spin-off games, a few film adaptations, and tons of physical merchandise, Halo is one of the most popular and beloved video game series of all time. Now, one fan has gotten an impressive tattoo that will perpetually remind him of his fondness for the series.

Halo has seen its fair share of success over the last couple of decades with many of its games leaving a lasting impact on many in the gaming community. The release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC last year also greatly help boost the love that so many people have for this series. Though, games and physical merchandise are not the only ways that fans are able to showcase their love of the games.

Reddit user usetheforce_gaming revealed his Master Chief tattoo that runs down from his shoulder to just past his elbow. The art is meticulous and struck many as being beautiful. The color gradients and the use of his own skin color to contrast the various shades are a unique touch, as well. It can definitely go toe-to-toe with George Kittle's Halo tattoo, the TE for the San Francisco 49ers.

This tattoo is an impressive show of affection for a series that has influenced so many in the gaming community, despite some of the mistakes made in the later Halo games that turned some fans against the series. In addition to this tattoo, along with many other Halo themed tattoos, there are plenty of non-permanent ways that fans have utilized as a way of celebrating Halo.

There have been numerous Halo cosplays throughout the years, depicting and highlighting a multitude of memorable Halo characters. Although, considering the digitally synthesized, holographic nature of her character, the Cortana cosplays are easily some of the most impressive of the many excellent examples of Halo cosplay.

In spite of the fact that the franchise is nearly twenty years old, Halo has continued to maintain its momentum, as there are quite a number of exciting Halo related projects on the horizon. In addition to the long awaited release of Halo Infinite, fans can also expect the Halo TV series to release at some point in the future now that filming is back up and running. Ultimately, fans like usetheforce_gaming have a lot more to look forward to in terms of Halo in the future.
