For the most part, 343 has kept the achievement descriptions purposefully vague. However, some of the achievements hint at what fans can expect from the campaign when the game drops in a couple of weeks.

First off, it appears as though 343 was not being misleading when they said that the Halo 5 campaign would be double the size of the campaign in Halo 4. As some may recall, Halo 4's campaign only had 8 missions, whereas we now know that Halo 5's campaign has 15.

These 15 missions will be split between Spartan Locke and his Fireteam Osiris, and Master Chief's Blue Team. While the achievements don't offer a whole lot as to what exactly Locke and Chief will be doing on their respective adventures, there is one very interesting achievement that seems to suggest that the Arbiter will also be involved in the story. The achievement, titled "Enemy of my Enemy", tasks players with helping the "Elite General" charge the hill in the Osiris mission on Heroic difficulty.

Speculation that the Arbiter would play a role in the game began when he was featured in a Mega Bloks collector's set based on the game. More evidence came later, when 343 released gameplay footage depicting the home world of the Elites, Sanghelios. Unless the "Enemy of my Enemy" achievement is referring to another high ranking Elite, it seems like the Arbiter will indeed have a role in the events of Halo 5.

Arbiter or no, with the achievement list now available for Halo 5: Guardians, achievement hunters everywhere can ready themselves for Halo 5's impending launch on Xbox One.

Halo 5: Guardians is scheduled to release on October 27th, exclusively for the Xbox One.
