Although the game's release on Xbox One dropped in 2014, Halo: The Master Chief Collection's arrival on PC has been more gradual than its console counterpart. Halo: Reach made its way to the platform last December, with Halo 3 following suit last July and Halo 3: ODST launching in September.

The final game to join the comprehensive bundle of titles is Halo 4, with the action-packed 2012 reboot of the franchise officially available on PC now. To celebrate The Master Chief Collection finally being complete on PC, Xbox has released a launch trailer for the sequel that goes over its epic story and chaotic multiplayer.

The promo clocks in at just under two minutes, and is filled with fun callbacks for Halo 4 fans as well as enticing reasons to jump back into the game on PC. It starts by highlighting the game's narrative, showing Master Chief and Cortana battling their way across the deadly forerunner planet of Requiem. As this is a Halo game, that means players must blast their way through countless enemies, and the trailer doesn't skimp out on showing Chief annihilating some Promethean baddies plaguing the surface of Requiem.

It also features multiplayer gameplay, with one clip showcasing four players taking down a Banshee with rocket launchers. The promo reveals that all 25 multiplayer maps will return, while also offering an action-packed firefight between two Spartans and a Mantis mech. All-in-all, it seems as though the entire Halo 4 experience is back and better than ever, meaning PC players who never got to enjoy the game when it debuted won't miss out on what made it such a hit.

For those who never played Halo 4, the story picks up four years after the action-packed climax of Halo 3, seeing Master Chief and Cortana awake on the wreckage of the Forward Unto DawnBefore the pair can get their bearings, they find themselves stranded on the planet of Requiem and forced into a high-stakes battle with a race of mysterious forerunner beings known as Prometheans. To top things off, it becomes apparent that Cortana is beginning to grow unstable, as Master Chief must find a way to fix the AI before she becomes rampant. With the fourth entry in the franchise now available, The Master Chief Collection's PC port is finally complete.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is available now on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
