Once again, Microsoft is getting into the spirit of the holiday and holding another Shocktober sale in its Xbox Store. Xbox Live Gold and Silver members will find a tremendous amount of discounts on a variety of horror games for both the Xbox One and Xbox 360.

The Xbox Shocktober Sale will last from now until All Hallows' Eve (Halloween), October 31. The savings range anywhere from 15% off to a whopping 75%, so the deals are worth a gander.

Among the many horror titles is one very iconic series, Resident Evil, which receives some nice discounts. The latest entry, Resident Evil 7, is getting a 50% discount, with the deluxe version going for $45, and the standard for $30. The accompanying DLC, Banned Footage Vol. 1 is $6 and Vol. 2 is a little more at $9. The Season Pass is discounted to $27.

Additionally, nearly every other entry in the series is listed as well, with savings of up to 60%. Most of them are either at or below the $10 mark.

It's a good time to check out Resident Evil 7, since two big DLC expansions are coming to the game. The first is Not A Hero, which stars series veteran Chris Redfield. The other is End of Zoe, and explores Zoe's fate after the unfortunate circumstances in the game.

There are far too many games included in the Xbox Shocktober sale to list, but here are some of the more high-profile ones:

  • Dead By Daylight -- $18
