The cast of characters in Hades is part of the game's charm. Meeting delightful individuals and helping them with their problems as they help Zagreus escape brings a meaningful depth to a genre of games that sometimes get bogged down in mere repetition.
While some of these characters can be assisted with a few gifts or simply speaking to them, things are much more difficult for Orpheus and Eurydice. It's reasonable to beat Hades several times over before ever figuring out how to make the two lovebirds unite. For those who want to end their torment as expeditiously as possible, here is the quickest path to bringing Eurydice and Orpheus back together.
Pay Off Orpheus' Fine
First thing's first, Zagreus needs to get Orpheus free from his debts. The House Contractor shades hold the key to the first part of releasing Orpheus from his sentence. To pay off the fine, give one Diamond to the House Contractor and buy the Court Musician's Sentence.
Somewhere down the line, this action will also allow Zagreus to learn how to play the Lyre too. Theoretically, Orpheus could keep refusing to sing and earn himself another penalty but, thankfully, this gesture from Zagreus makes him snap out of his funk.
Finding Eurydice
Next up, players will actually have to find Eurydice, which is no easy task. She's located behind the ! marked door in Asphodel, the area unlocked after getting past Maegara or one of her sisters. Bad luck means this door won't be available on every run.
Sadly, even the Fated Authority currency granted by the Mirror of Night can't change the room to the right one. For those having trouble surviving that long, try using the perfect shield build. Players don't have to beat the game or even beat the Hydra to find Eurydice.
Donating Nectar
There are three total characters that need to have five hearts before Zagreus can begin to free the lovers from being able to see each other. Orpheus, Eurydice, and Nyx need to be given Nectar until they've each got five hearts for Zagreus.
Nyx is the oddball of the group, but it's conversations with her that reveal that Zagreus actually could have done something about this with his old job back. Unfortunately, Zagreus did not make any friends when he quit that job, getting hired back will be an issue. As a side benefit, giving Nyx Nectar will also help her reunite with Chaos.
Purchase The Administration Chamber
Zagreus must pay two Diamonds to purchase the Administrative Privilege contract from the House Contractor shade. However, this won't be available for many players who try to rush this process. It takes more than just a bribe to get the job back that Zagreus left in a fit of rage.
Players will have to complete twenty-seven escape attempts before this contract is available for purchase. Time heals all wounds. Keep in mind these are mere attempts; it's alright to fail an attempt to escape. Players who want to rush this along can die intentionally if they are so inclined, but odds are good that farming the Nectar required will take at least twenty-seven legitimate attempts anyhow.
Speak With Nyx And Hades
At first, the primary reason for unlocking the Administration Chambers will probably be to release Sisyphus. Nyx and Hades will eventually reveal that it's a binding contract in the Administration Chamber that forbids Orpheus and Eurydice from seeing one another.
However, the conversation topics aren't selected by the player, so it's important to talk to Nyx and Zagreus after the previous conditions have been met. Slowly, they'll reveal that the House Contractor can provide the location of the contract.
Destroy The Court Musician's House Contract
For three diamonds, Zagreus can buy the Singer's Gamble document from the House Contractor. Zagreus will automatically destroy the document, allowing Orpheus and Eurydice to see each other again. Speak to Orpheus one final time to let him know the deed has been done.
The next time Zagreus comes across Eurydice in Asphodel, they'll be singing together. Don't worry, Orpheus will still visit the Great Hall from time to time and is available for further dialogue.
