As a game named after the Greek god of the underworld, Hades is appropriately challenging when it comes to the fast-paced gameplay. One aspect that is difficult (in a fun way) is the many boss fights that force players to hone their skills or adopt a new tactic in order to come out victorious.

Arguably one of the most challenging of these tough bosses in Hades is Tisiphone due to her powerful attacks and swift movements. In addition to needing a solid build to take her down, players will need to anticipate her attacks and time their counterattacks accordingly to achieve success.

General Advice For The Boss Fight Against Tisiphone

What build players use against Tisiphone does not matter a great deal as long as one has decent range and speed on their side, as this will allow players to keep up and damage the boss in the lulls between her powerful attacks. As such, players should focus more on anticipating and dodging Tisiphone's assaults before unleashing their counterattacks.

Attack Analysis - Columns Of Green Fire

Before performing this attack, Tisiphone will stay in the same spot and spin around rapidly for a moment while large, dark circles appear in a linear pattern in front of her (or in three directions around her during her third phase). These circles foreshadow where the columns of green fire will appear, though, they don't stick around for very long, so make sure to get out of the way before the damaging portion of this move erupts from the ground.

Attack Analysis - Single-Wing Melee Strikes

These consecutive green slashes are what follow Tisiphone raising her singular wing into the air for an extended moment. They can hurt quite a lot, and, since the slashes are made in quick succession, players will inevitably be hit by more than one if they get caught by this attack. The best way to avoid damage from these melee strikes is to back away from the boss when she raises her wing into the air in front of her.

Attack Analysis - Dashing Orb Attack

While not seeming very threatening, this is probably the move that will deal the most damage to players, as there is very little telegraphing for it. All Tisiphone will do before lunging ahead rapidly while shooting out orbs of green energy is raise her hand briefly, which can be very hard to see during the chaotic battle. As such, players wishing to avoid damage from this attack should be sure to stay to the side or behind the boss. She will only move forward with this assault, and, furthermore, since the orbs launch at a perpendicular angle from her dashing direction (both left and right), they won't be able to hit the player if one is behind the boss.

Attack Analysis - Spinning Orb Attack

Inversely to the Dashing Orb Attack, this spinning variant is likely the easiest for more players to dodge, as Tisiphone will simply twirl around on the spot while somewhat slowly emitting green orb-like particles that travel outward. To dodge this attack, simply stay far away from the boss to sneak through the gaps of the orbs as they travel further from their origin.
