If there was ever a virtual reality version of a trick shot competition, this gamer might just take home the trophy. AuxPlumes on YouTube has shown off his incredible trick shot and reloading skills in the HTC Vive game Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, or H3VR for short.

H3VR is a target shooting sandbox that tasks players with manually loading various weapons, from shells into shotguns, magazines into handguns, and rounds into bolt-action rifles. According to PC Gamer, carrying out these reloads even in a traditional, non-tricky way is a lot harder than it looks. But someone watching one of AuxPlumes would never get that—he makes it look easy.

For those wanting to try their own hand at H3VR on the HTC Vive, it is available on Steam for $19.99. The developers describe the game, which is an Early Access Game, as “a lazy Sunday trip over to your friends house… if your friend was a retired gun-nut with a warehouse full of toys[…]”. It’s a game that will evolve over time as the developers continue to work on it, and while it has leaderboards and mini-games, many enjoy it for being a sandbox shooter.

And there are many who do apparently enjoy the game. H3VR currently sits with over 750 “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on Steam with many gamers calling it one of the best VR games they have ever experienced.

VR continues to deliver unique experiences, and as AuxPlumes shows, gamers can deliver some equally special gameplay from these games.
