Guilty Gear Strive has been a huge hit for Arc System Works following its successful launch earlier this year. The game has been praised by the fanbase for the last few months thanks to its story, characters, and music. It would go on to be one of the highest selling games within the franchise, with its momentum continuing through the release of new DLC characters. Jack-O' Valentine is an incredibly popular character and was warmly received when she released earlier this month. She has since gotten a lot of mods, including one that replaces her with Noir, the axe-weilding Beauty Thief from Persona 5.

Haru Okumura, codenamed Noir, is a heavy-hitting powerhouse of the Phantom Theives in Persona 5. Her primary weapons are an axe and grenade launcher. Despite Haru's limited screentime in the game, she's still a beloved party member thanks to her regal Phantom Thief costume, a sadistic streak that is hidden behind her adorable persona, and floofy hair. These make her the right candidate to be modded over Jack-O', who is also a fan favorite of Guilty Gear.

The return of Jack-O' to Guilty Gear Strive has been met with much fan acclaim, either due to her mechanics or her wildly popular crouch pose. With such popularity, fans have created multiple mods for the character, whether it be an alternate color palette that references other characters, or in this case, a complete costume overhaul. Created by Monkeygigabuster, this mod replaces Jack-O' entirely. It replaces her with Noir, but keeps her animations and model proportions. The mod is incredibly impressive, as not only does it build around Jack-O's body, but it makes Noir fit in-line with the artstyle.

In the screenshots of the costume, it doesn't feel like Noir is out of place. Clearly, there was an incredible amount of work done to port the costume over from Persona 5 and match the graphics and style of Guilty Gear Strive. If that's not enough, Noir's memorable hairstyle, mask, and hat have been perfectly recreated on Jack-O's model. An additional screenshot shows off an alternate costume that has Noir wearing Jack-O's pumpkin mask, which fits perfectly on her as well.

The mod is only available to be used on the PC versions of Guilty Gear Strive. Monkeygigabuster notes that this mod will affect all of Jack-O's costume slots, and shouldn't be paired with other texture mods. Furthermore, they advised if the game's performance is being affected by the mod, players should download the version that comes with lower resolution textures. This mod shows how a character can feel right at home in another game if enough effort is put into bringing them over.

Guilty Gear Strive is available on PC, PS4, and PS5.
