ArenaNet is feeling the holiday festivities early as they discount the popular MMO Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns with a big 50% off deal until November 22.
Black Friday has once again arrived early, this time at MMORPG Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. ArenaNet, the publisher of Guild Wars 2 has decided to kick start a week-long promotion where both editions of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns are on sale for half-off.
This means you can join in on the subscription-free MMO with the starting price of $24.99 for the Standard Edition, or $37.49 for the Deluxe Edition of the game.
Guild Wars 2 Holiday Deal
- Guild Wars 2: Heart Of Thorns: $24.99 (list $50)
- Guild Wars 2: Heart Of Thorns Deluxe Edition:$37.49 (list $75)
What's the difference between the Standard Edition versus the Deluxe? Both copies of the game gets you full access to Guild Wars 2 (which has now been made free-to-play). By buying either copy, you'll immediately get access to the full Guild Wars 2 experience with this latest expansion.
For those who did have a Guild Wars 2 account (whether free or paid), getting either of the Heart of Thorns edition above will grant you a "Max-Level Boost" feature - giving you the ability to boost one of your old character to level 80 and allowing you to explore the Living World of Tyria. Associated level 80 gears and gold will also be included, so if you've been on a Guild Wars 2 hiatus, this is a good jump start back into the game world.
For the Deluxe Edition, these are the additional goodies included:
- Additional character slot
- Miniature revenant Rytlock (in-game pet that follows you around)
- Revenant Finisher (finishing move animation)
- Mordremoth's Bane Guild Hall Decoration
- Heart of Thorns Glider Skin
The sale runs through next Tuesday, November 22. Developed by ArenaNet, Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns is the first expansion pack for Guild Wars 2. It was released last year on October 23.
