Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy features a surprisingly intricate choice system. Talking with Lady Hellbender can go two different ways, and if she's not impressed with what the Guardians are trying to sell her, all hell will break loose.

While running through her palace, the team will get trapped in a room that starts to slowly fill with deadly gas. Star-Lord must search for a way to escape Lady Hellbender's Vault in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, but the solution isn't immediately obvious.

How to Escape Lady Hellbender's Vault in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

The first thing players should do when trying to escape Lady Hellbender's vault in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is to seal the holes using Star-Lord's Elemental Ice setting on his gun (R1/RB on consoles). Players can activate his visor (R3 on consoles) to easily locate the openings leaking gas into the chamber. They won't stay sealed, so remember to keep blocking them when players notice the room is filling up with to much gas.

After sealing the holes leaking gas, keep Star-Lord's visor activated and start searching for a way to escape Lady Hellbender's vault in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Any object with a yellow glow usually indicates the way forward, but players must combine a few of these objects to successfully escape. First, look up to locate a large hanging light, and scan the small yellow part above it.

The light needs to be cut down using Gamora's ability in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Hold L1/LB on consoles and choose the corresponding Gamora button while aiming at it to do this. The object will then come crashing down.

Next, players scan the yellow crack on the wall, and then use Drax's ability in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy to lift up the light. Drax will then throw it at the cracked wall, creating a much-needed exit for the team. The team will soon come across an important fight after escaping Lady Hellbender's Vault, so make sure ability points are being spent on helpful perks.

Ending up in the vault is just one of the possible scenarios players can experience in Chapter 4 of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. If players want to experience how any moment can play out differently, they can load up each chapter from the main menu to try different decisions. However, players will have to start a new game if they want to experience the long-term ramifications of their choices.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
