Hasbro's Marvel Legends series will be expanding later this year with the addition of new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 figures, including Star-Lord, Drax, Nebula, Mantis, Rocket, Kraglin, Cosmo, and Adam Warlock. Each of these Marvel figures is intricately designed for premium detail and articulation, for posing and/or display, and pre-orders on these new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 figures will go live on February 22.
The upcoming release of this figure makes sense with the upcoming movie. The latest Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 trailer focused on the mission to confront Rocket's past, while also hinting at the potential dissolution of the group. New dynamics are shown off, like that between Peter Quill and former love interest Gamora, and fans get a good look at "Swole Groot." There's still a lot of mystery surrounding Adam Warlock, but that's to be expected going into its release.
The Marvel Legends series of action figures has been around, in some form, since 2002, giving fans high-quality figures, prop relics, and much more. The figures in this collection are all 6 inch and are part of a BAF wave, meaning that some of the figures come with a small part that builds up a bigger figure once someone has them all. Collecting most of the GOTG characters gives the owner a buildable figure of Cosmo the Space Dog, fitting since it seems he'll have a bigger role in the upcoming movie.
These new Marvel Legends figures will be released sometime in Spring 2023, are for Ages 4 years and up, and will cost collectors approximately $24.99 each.
