Rockstar Games recently released Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition, in which the original three 3D GTA titles were remastered for newer consoles and PC hardware. Recently, though, one Grand Theft Auto Vice City's Definitive Edition player noticed that the developer messed up the Rockstar Games logo.

Grand Theft Auto Vice City has several tourist hotspots. During a recent playthrough, Reddit user Aanandertoe noticed a peculiar problem with a large pool shaped like the Rockstar Games logo near the heart of the city. This pool fittingly represents the logo just as it did in the original release of GTA Vice City, but the minimap now shows a different logo entirely in Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition. Looking at the minimap in this location shows a mishappen Rockstar Games R next to a six-pointed star.

Grand Theft Auto fans may not immediately know what's wrong with the minimap logo in Grand Theft Auto Vice City: The Definitive Edition, but the Rockstar Games star only has five points to it. The pool in Aanandertoe's photo shows a proper representation of the Rockstar Games logo, but for whatever reason, the minimap is unable to effectively recognize the iconic logo. Because this issue is one of many that are attributed to texture changes in GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition to various locations, the messed up Rockstar Games logo is one of the most laughable revelations since GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition was released.

Aanandertoe's Reddit post also hints to GTA Vice City players who haven't come across this Rockstar Games swimming pool where to find the Flamethrower outside using one of the GTA cheat code. Some of the responses to Aanandertoe's Reddit post referenced the floating Flamethrower in the Rockstar Games pool, but a majority of the replies gave a unique name to the messed up Rockstar Games logo. Because of its likeness to the six-pointed Star of David, the Reddit community has dubbed this poorly recreated logo the Rockstar of David.

It should be noted that Grove Street Games was the developer of GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition, so Rockstar Games didn't mess up its own logo. There are a number of problematic textures used in all of the GTA titles that are part of the Definitive Edition, which turned out to be a troubled remaster. Several other aspects of the GTA Trilogy have been incorrectly remastered, which sparked a response from Rockstar Games and Grove Street Games who intend to fix the various problems in Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition.

Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: The Definitive Edition is available right now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
