After Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition's highly anticipated launch, players responded to the remasters of Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas with decidedly mixed responses. It appears that Rockstar Games is working to address some of the issues raised by fans. One change made recently to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is the return of the Burger Shot lady's distinctive burger hat.

Burger Shot is a restaurant chain found throughout the Grand Theft Auto franchise. A Burger Shot can be found in each of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas's three major cities, where players will be met by the same server--a woman wearing a hamburger-shaped hat. This isn't the only time players have taken note of a burger place in a video game, but it may be one of the funniest.

Reddit user JulzRadn shared a screenshot taken from Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition after a recent update showing the interior of a Burger Shot restaurant. In the original version of the remastered Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the server's enormous, burger-shaped hat was removed. The focus of JulzRadn's image is the Burger Shot lady, who is once again sporting her enormous custom headwear.

This isn't the only change made to the visuals of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition recently. Another fan-favorite minor character in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Old Reece also got his character model updated. Another larger-scale improvement came in the form of the developers adding the heat haze back into the game, which helped to fix the title's draw distance. However, this may not be enough for fans, especially since some of them are already creating mods to improve Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' textures.

As of writing, it appears that while fans appreciate this change, it's just one step of many. One fan observed that the game is having significant issues with performance, which may help explain why Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition has one of the lowest Metacritic scores ever. However, other fans seem to be pleased that Rockstar Games is making an attempt to fix things in the form of major post-launch updates. A second fan noted that while they're pleased to see the Burger Shot lady's hat restored to its former glory, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas still needs a complete character model overhaul.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Physical releases for Xbox and PlayStation are due on December 17, with a Switch version coming early 2022.
