Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition is developer Grove Street Games' endeavor to remaster the three legendary Rockstar titles. The GTA Trilogy includes updated versions of Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, all of which have been remastered for the current generation of consoles and PCs.The Definitive Edition of Grand Theft Auto also includes a host of new features and enhancements, such as 4K resolution support, improved lighting and shadows, new character models and animations, and updated audio and visual effects. For anyone who isn't aware, just before the release of the Definitive Edition, all of the original Trilogy titles were taken off of both Steam and Epic Games Store. The tweet also included screenshots showing the code that has been added to the Rockstar Games Launcher. This is great news for PC gamers who have been waiting for these titles to be released on their platform of choice.

The release date for the GTA Definitive Edition on these storefronts is still unknown. However, many gamers will be hoping that GTA Trilogy includes an update to fix the bugs and glitches that have been plaguing the game since its launch. A mobile port of the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition is also in the final stages of development and is expected to be released sometime in 2023.
