Like many online video games, Grand Theft Auto Online often experiences very odd glitches that can either make the game more fun and interesting, or cause serious frustration for players. GTA Online players have recently started encountering giant stunt tracks that randomly sprout from the ground, and this is causing a lot of frustration for players, especially when they are busy with important missions.

This exploit seems to be happening only on PlayStation 4 at the moment, and what it does is turn public lobbies into landfills for cheaters, who dump massive structures onto the map so that they can ultimately "freeze" their money in the game. Cheaters "freeze" their money so that they can buy vehicles without having their in-game money run dry.

"Cheaters" achieve this by logging in and out of GTA 5 multiple times, suspending and restarting the game, logging into different accounts and modes, and eventually forcing GTA 5 to load into GTA Online. As seen in this video, players then take advantage of the game's vulnerability by placing huge stunt tracks or "walls" all over the city of Los Santos in other people's games.

Fortunately, PlayStation 4 does not allow mods, like GTA Online on PC, so not a lot of cheating happens in GTA Online on PlayStation 4. At the moment, not too many players seem to be affected by the glitch. Rockstar, however, has not given any feedback yet on whether they are trying to fix this problem or what they are doing to fix it though, so more players might start experiencing this exploit if it is not addressed soon.

This glitch is definitely causing a lot of frustration for players though, especially for those who are not used to game mods. It is indeed disruptive, but this glitch is certainly one of the most unique and strange that we have seen in GTA Online so far.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
