For those wondering how to spend Independence Day this weekend, it seems Rockstar has them covered. Earlier today, the publisher announced what it's added in this week's GTA Online update, and it seems the next seven days will be entirely themed around the all-American holiday.

As expected for any GTA Online celebration, that entails plenty of in-game rewards and an array of massive discounts, with players able to get reductions on everything from clothing and weapons to race cars and jets. Those wanting to hop into certain activities will be able to earn more currency and experience too, including double GTA$ and RP for players hunting down Treasure Chests and Hidden Caches on the ocean floor of Cayo Perico.

In the same spirit, players will be able to earn triple rewards on Mobile Operation and Stockpile missions. For those who don't own a Mobile Operations Center to initiate these segments, they'll be able to purchase one from Warstock Cache & Carry for 40% off while the Independence Day celebrations are still on. Additionally, those playing Business Battles will also be able to grab some exclusive items of clothing, allowing them to model an assortment of beer hats and a Statue of Happiness T-shirt. The Diamond Casino's Lucky Wheel will also be getting a new vehicular prize, with players potentially netting themselves a red, white, and blue adorned Declasse Hotring Sabre.

Much like last year's GTA Online Independence Day celebration, the game's storefronts are also loaded with 50% off discounts. In terms of cosmetics, players will be able to nab cheaper face paint, masks, and haircuts, as well as Mark II weapon liveries and the Patriot Parachute. They'll also be able to pick up the Blaine County Talk Radio Tee and USA parachute bag for free, with the former being claimed when the player boots up the game and the latter having to be acquired at an Ammu-nation.

As for weapons, they'll be able to grab the musket and the firework launcher in the sale, with ammo for the latter also being reduced. Vehicles have also seen a significant drop in price, with players able to acquire a selection of extravagant cars, trucks, helicopters, and planes for lower prices. The Dinka Veto Classic, Vapid Flash GT, and MTL Firetruck have dropped by 30%, while the Albany Roosevelt Valor, Declasse Drift Tampa, and Nagasaki Buzzard Attack Chopper have all been reduced by 40%. Players can also get their hands on the Titan and Western Company Besra for 40% less, allowing them to take to the skies in style. Of course, players can also redeem their monthly injection of free PlayStation Plus cash now too, with today marking the beginning of July.

GTA Online is out now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions on the way.
