Anyone currently taking a break from Grand Theft Auto Online for whatever reason might want to consider getting back in for the next few days, because there’s a free reward in store for all GTA Online players if they’re able to beat the week-long challenge of stealing billions in in-game money.

The aptly-named Heist Challenge has been going on since Thursday, inviting the community to work together towards amassing a grand total of GTA$100 billion by taking part in any Heist Finale from The Fleeca Job to the Diamond Casino Heist by November 18. Should they succeed in stealing that amount by this Wednesday, Rockstar says everyone will receive a “special new vehicle, free of charge” for a limited time next month, while every participant will receive a “special badge of honor” as a bonus.

Players interested in taking part at this point won’t have a lot of time to get a lot of robbing done, but luckily Rockstar has been making it easier to get started. In addition to waiving the cost of Casino Heist Setup Fees by 75% for the duration of the Heist Challenge, Rockstar is also offering double the GTA$ and RP for taking on Casino Story Missions and Resurrection. Prime Gaming members can also earn an extra GTA$200K by syncing their account with their Rockstar Games Social Club account and logging in at any time this week. Aiding players even further are a number of discounts this week that include deals on Arcade properties and assorted purchases.

There are also a few perks for players to look forward to outside of the challenge. As an added bonus, Rockstar is giving away free money to every GTA Online player who logs in this week, providing them with a complimentary GTA$1,000,000 that they can then receive between November 19-25, “just in time to give your finances a nice boost before the holidays,” according to Rockstar.

Interestingly, Rockstar has said that the Heist Challenge is meant to help players “get ready for the upcoming release of the next evolution in Heist gameplay.” This coincides with the discovery of construction work happening at the Diamond Casino, which might be the first tease of GTA Online’s newest heist. If so, the timing suggests that players might receive this new content as soon as the end of the Heist Challenge this week, but as of this writing, there’s still no official clue as to when Rockstar will open up on what it has in store for heists.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions slated to launch in 2021.
