Grand Theft Auto Online is a popular multiplayer experience packed with an incredible amount of detail. From the polished expansive open-world filled with diverse NPCs to the ability for players to build their very own criminal enterprise, Rockstar Games' action-adventure game basically has it all. With that said, that's not to assume that Grand Theft Auto Online doesn't have some hilarious bugs that appear now and then that break the immersion.

One of the main reasons Grand Theft Auto Online is such a success is mostly because of the developer's consistency in adding entertaining content to the game, in particular, the acclaimed Los Santos Tuners expansion. Altogether, these countless scripted expansions give players more to see and explore in the nearly nine-year-old experience. However, there's nothing stopping players from making their own fun, which becomes increasingly easy when unexpected glitches enter the equation.

Now, leaving many gamers both amused and confused at another funny glitch in Grand Theft Auto Online, Reddit user Memesrdreams24 has posted a short 19-second-long clip onto the game's official subreddit. The video starts bizarrely enough, with the player seemingly free-falling from the sky in a small yellow convertible as the words "wrong direction" pop up in German. But things take a turn to hilarity as soon as the driver exits the vehicle mid-air, which causes his in-game character to frantically spin like helicopter rotor blades.

The ridiculous clip then comes to a violent, bloody finale when the player swan dives face-first into the concrete below, which is rather fitting since it is the Halloween and slasher season of Grand Theft Auto Online. Soon after making the post, the video went viral, receiving over 7,000 upvotes and awards. On top of this, many users in the replies could relate to Memesrdreams24's caption, "what just happened?" which perfectly summarizes the usual reaction to the head-spinning glitch.

Although Memesrdreams24's aerial discovery seems something that would only occur once in a blue moon, surprisingly enough, this is not the first time one of Rockstar Games' has featured a strange character flying glitch. Recently, players found a glitching bridge in Red Dead Redemption 2 that hurls protagonist Arthur Morgan into the air when he steps on it.

Overall, as entertaining as this is, Rockstar Games is known for quickly fixing minor bugs like this in Grand Theft Auto Online. As a result, it is unlikely to last long in the game, especially now that it is more well-known. As a result, those who want to check it out should do so now, as there's no knowing when it'll be patched out.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will release on November 11.
