Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto Online is a popular multiplayer experience packed with an extraordinary amount of detail and expansive content just waiting for players to scour. From an open world filled with diverse NPCs to the ability for players to construct their very own criminal enterprise, the action-crime game has quite a bit in store from the get-go. Although, that's not to assume that Grand Theft Auto Online doesn't have some laughable bugs in store for unsuspected players too that appear now and then that leave the community stunned.

One of the main reasons Grand Theft Auto Online is such a success is mostly because of the developer's consistency in adding entertaining content to the game. In particular, the acclaimed Cayo Perico Heist expansion that was released in December 2020 gave players more to see and explore in the nearly nine-year-old online mode. This gun-blazing heist sees players assigned with helping business owner Miguel Madrazo retrieve information from one of the drug lords in Cayo Perico.

With that said, one gamer's experience on Cayo Perico is something the developers did not expect players to see. Leaving many gamers both amused and confused at another funny glitch in Grand Theft Auto Online, Reddit user thedogylt posted a short 13-second-long clip onto the game's online subreddit. The video starts during the stage of the heist where the player is tasked with scoping out the island. However, things take a turn for the worst when thedogylt randomly combusts when trying to exit one of the island's defence towers through its entrance gate.

The ridiculous yet hilarious Grand Theft Auto Online clip comes to a bloody finale when the player swan dives face-first into a grassy shrub below, which cues the standard "wasted" game over screen. Soon after making the post, the video received over 200 upvotes and a couple of replies.

For the uninitiated, thedogylt's flaming aerial discovery seems like an occurrence that would only happen once in a blue moon. Howbeit, this is surprisingly not the first time Grand Theft Auto Online has featured a strange glitch that sees players erratically take off into the air on a whim. Recently, one player stumbled upon a GTA Online flying bridge bug that resulted in some truly destructive results.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
