Grand Theft Auto Online has managed to retain players of its offline counterpart GTA5 by providing a steady stream of content. The latest update adds more content once more and will please fans who were worried that the coronavirus pandemic would prevent further content making its way to them. Players may be familiar with some of the new content as it appeared on Halloween last year for a limited time, and it will likely follow the same release cycle this time around.
The Alien Survival Series and Peyote plant features are returning to Grand Theft Auto Online which will allow players to not only fight aliens but become Bigfoot too. The Peyote plants allow players to embody a range of animals from the game, all players need to do is take the hallucinogen. Equally, if gamers want to shoot through the game they can in the Alien Survival, the mode allows players to fight "heavily armed NOOSE teams, FIB agents and the Marines across seven maps." There seem to be numerous features on the horizon for the online version of Grand Theft Auto and it will likely tide players over while they wait for an official GTA 6 announcement.
There is still plenty of content coming to GTA Online and many will hope that this continues as it adds longevity to an already impressive game. It will be interesting to see how much longer Rockstar Games support the title with rumors of a new game in the series on the horizon. Yet, the developer does not looking like it is resting on its laurels and there does not seem to be an end to the content that is keeping players entertained.
GTA Online recently gave players free money and alongside returning game modes, it seems that the game has a number of ideas on how to keep gamers returning to the title. It will be interesting to see what comes next to GTA Online, but for now, there are numerous things to do whether it be embodying Bigfoot or an alien race.
