A wave of clips that have gone viral depict green aliens getting out of vans and beating players with baseball bats. Many wondered if these green aliens were just a group of friends deciding to mess with people on the server. However, the green aliens seemed to multiply, perhaps gaining members in order to take over Los Santos, or acquire a large sum of money for a big purchase. This apparent war has gotten to the point where other factions are joining in as well. Players are recruiting others to be Los Santos' version of the FBI to investigate and take down aliens. Some players are even posing as rival gangs to infiltrate and attack them. It is not known how many players have joined each side, however, players can freely change their outfit, so it may get a little confusing. The alien war does not seem to be slowing down, and only time will tell which gang comes out on top.
