A fan of the GTA series has created an amazing piece of pixel art that recreates the iconic Grove Street. The street has appeared in two GTA games in the past, featuring in both GTA: San Andreas and GTA 5.

The last few years for the GTA series have been tough from a critical reception perspective, although sales continue to be strong for the games. Despite the critical mauling of GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, it sold above expectations for Rockstar. The remastered trilogy put a dent in player confidence in the developer after it was deemed a rushed cash grab by many fans. However, creations like this artwork show that one tough release can't turn players away from the franchise for good, with their passion for the games remaining strong.

The pixel art was posted to Reddit by user M178music and is titled "Home," with the piece mostly showing off the house of GTA: San Andreas protagonist CJ. According to the Redditor, the Grove Street tribute took around two days to complete, and the effort that has gone into the piece is clear to see. Reddit users in the thread were quick to commend the piece, with particular praise saved for its restricted color palette that makes the image pop. It's fun to see a 3D game recreated in the pixel art style. Pixel art is often associated with classic titles like Pac-Man, so re-imaginings of more modern titles are often an interesting concept. For many fans, Grove Street's first appearance in GTA: San Andreas was a high point of the franchise. With the game now almost two decades old, it's a title that evokes nostalgia for a lot of players. As a result, it's often the subject of many brilliant fan creations from the GTA community. One fan even created an impressive GTA: San Andreas rug based on the game's user interface. With the franchise establishing itself as perhaps the biggest in the games industry, fans can expect to see more of these types of creations popping up on the internet for years to come.

Although Grove Street remains an iconic location from the franchise, it's currently unlikely that it will return in GTA 6 after last year's leaks seemed to confirm Vice City as the next setting. However, the scale of these games is only getting bigger and more ambitious, so a return wouldn't be completely impossible if Rockstar decided to include it to some degree. Players will only know for sure when official GTA 6 announcements are made. With GTA 5 turning ten years old this year, it would be the perfect opportunity for Rockstar to ramp up marketing for the long-awaited sequel.
