It sort of goes without saying that cars are a big part of Grand Theft Auto Online, whether a player becomes obsessed with collecting expensive cars, such as one Grand Theft Auto player who stuffed their garage with Pegassis, or another that just sticks with the first car they stole, upgrading it to the point it can match a super car in a race. Whichever way a Grand Theft Auto Online player enjoys their cars, they're a vital point of the series to the point where some players have even recreated some of the vehicles in real life.

Grand Theft Auto is a series based on reflecting real-life. The map of Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto V is almost a replica of Los Angeles and the surrounding area, and for years fans have been finding points of the game in real-life. As a satire of modern society, Grand Theft Auto V does more than just offer a realistic map though, alongside the real-life locations, many of the cars and guns in the game are based on real-life equivalents, and as one fan has proved, even the stranger vehicles in the game can be recreated in real life.

Posted to Reddit by a Grand Theft Auto fan, YouTuber Burning Wrenches recreated the ramp buggy from Grand Theft Auto Online, an odd looking car that was introduced as part of the "Import/Export" free update, released in 2016. The short video on Reddit shows the expertly crafted ramp buggy emerging from a garage, before heading straight into an unfortunate car and flipping it over, showing the real-life buggy has the same flipping potential as its in-game counterpart.

Some commenters initially thought that the ramp buggy was actually a car seen in the Fast and Furious franchise, though fans were quick to shut down those discussions, claiming that the two cars were "dramatically different" and that the car in Burning Wrenches' video was indeed the ramp buggy feaured in Grand Theft Auto Online. Other commenters took a more comedic approach in their response to the video, crafting theories of what videogame item may appear in real-life next. One commenter said they "can't wait until they add diamonds from Minecraft into real life."

Grand Theft Auto Online may be over eight years old at this point, yet the game seems still to be very much alive, with a recently released "Contract" expansion to prove that. With large updates being released fairly often for Grand Theft Auto Online, it seems players will have wacky vehicles and weapons to recreate for some time to come.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is out now for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
