A huge number of gamers have been looking forward to the day when Grand Theft Auto 6 will finally emerge from development limbo. Over the years, several leakers have reported on the game, its contents, and the mood in Rockstar Games surrounding the unannounced title. Now, one Grand Theft Auto 6 leaker claims to have discovered some of the songs players will be able to listen to on the game's radio stations. The music of Grand Theft Auto is an important part of the franchise--possibly even more important than the wide array of weaponry available to players. Some gamers have reported that driving around in a stolen car with atmospheric tunes blaring on the radio is the real Grand Theft Auto experience. From this angle, it may be easy to see why players could get excited about learning which songs they have to look forward to.RELATED: Possible Grand Theft Auto 6 Tease Spotted in GTA TrilogyTwitter user GTA 6 NEWS & LEAKS, who covers Grand Theft Auto 6 news, rumors, leaks, predictions, and Easter eggs, recently translated a tweet that claimed to have discovered four songs that will be found in the upcoming game. According to the translation, the original poster Matheusvictorbr- found two songs in a fragment of radio, seemingly dubbed "familiar." The songs in question were "Domino Dancing" by Pet Shop Boys and "Odessa" by Caribou. Another two songs, "Nonsense Youth" by Santigold and "Numb" by Rihanna Feat. Eminem, were apparently found attached to another, unnamed exclusive radio fragment.

The songs Matheusvictorbr- allegedly discovered have noticeably different feels to them. This could back up another of Matheusvictorbr-'s claims--that the alpha version of Grand Theft Auto 6, which they apparently saw in 2019, had over 20 radio stations available. With Rockstar Games' next title reportedly being released soon, gamers may be interested in theorizing about what other songs the company could be bringing to the franchise.

Signs currently point in the direction of Grand Theft Auto 6 making a return to Liberty City, but discarding the fan-favorite 80s setting for a more modern take on the iconic location. This may imply that fans should anticipate a more modern soundtrack to go with the updated setting. However, with over 20 radio stations to choose from, gamers will probably be able to find something they enjoy listening to while cruising around in a stolen vehicle. Regardless, Grand Theft Auto 5 is still receiving support, so it remains to be seen when Grand Theft Auto 6 will take the stage.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is rumored to be in development.
