Fans have been anxiously awaiting any news or announcements about Grand Theft Auto 6 for quite some time. So far, Rockstar has remained tight-lipped about a potential new entry, as Grand Theft Auto 5 continues to get regular updates to its online mode. However, one fan has created a Grand Theft Auto 6  concept map containing all the classic cities of the franchise, and the result is pretty awesome.

The map features iconic locations like Vice City, Los Santos, Liberty City, and more. It's shaped like a rough approximation of the United States, putting each major location roughly where its real-world counterpart is. Of course, the idea of playing a map of the entire United States is amazing, though unrealistic. There's very little that fans actually know about the game, though Rockstar has teased some GTA surprises for 2020, so fans may hear something soon.

While the map concept itself is cool, it likely won't be that close to what releases with Grand Theft Auto 6. Rockstar would have to make some major sacrifices in each individual city for them all to be featured. That would mean far less detail in each city, which would result in some very disappointed fans. Stranger things have happened, but a map of the entire United States isn't a safe bet for the finished game. Rumors have pointed to Grand Theft Auto 6 featuring three locations, which isn't as impressive as the entire US, but should enough to carry a game.

Fan-made map of GTA 6

Grand Theft Auto 6 rumors have been circulating all over the internet lately. While fans are getting more anxious for a new game, Rockstar is no stranger to taking massive breaks between new titles. It's possible that something is announced soon, as it has been quite some time since GTA 5 released, but it's also safe to assume that Rockstar will continue updating Red Dead Online and Grand Theft Auto Online for the time being.

There are lots of things Rockstar should include in GTA 6For now, fans will just have to settle with replaying Grand Theft Auto 5, though it's understandable that some may be getting tired of exploring Los Santos. It's been nearly seven years since the game initially released, so it makes sense that fatigue may be setting in. Rockstar won't announce GTA 6 until it feels it's the right time, but, hopefully, that will be sooner rather than later.
