While Rockstar has been keeping quiet about Grand Theft Auto 6, fans have been trying to scour for as much information as possible, including one person who thinks they know how big the game's map will be. Although there's a lot to look forward to from the industry's biggest developers, this does feel like the era of long waits. Starfield may finally have a release date, but it seemed like a long time coming, and the whereabouts of Elder Scrolls 6 and the next GTA are still largely a mystery.

However, fans have been assured that work is underway on these much-anticipated titles. Given the enormous success of Grand Theft Auto 5, it's no wonder people are growing impatient over the upcoming installment's release date. It's been years in the making, and if it weren't for someone leaking GTA 6 footage in 2022, hardly anything would be known about it.

For good or ill, the Grand Theft Auto 6 leak happened, and now someone has managed to piece together a map of the game based on what's known about it. As spotted by Metro, Reddit user tusstaster has shown that GTA 6's map could be way bigger than that of its predecessor. It goes without saying that this does not come from Rockstar or any other party associated with the game, and the user has said this map is based off details like coordinates, images, gameplay footage, and even road signs. The map itself is way bigger than Los Santos, around three times its size, and features areas labeled Little Haiti, Rockridge, and Homestead. There's also Venetian Isle, plus several other small islands, including one that features a shopping district. There are even some major roads, such as I-197 and I-77, with the latter ending at Port Gellhorn Racetrack.

For many, it would make sense for Rockstar to make the game bigger and better than GTA 5. However, it needs to be reiterated that there's yet to be any confirmation about tusstaster's post. This is just one of the many Grand Theft Auto 6 rumors that continue to surface. It's also interesting that the map mentions Vice City. This is said to be the location of the next game, following the trends of GTA 4 and GTA 5 reviving the cities from older titles. Again, this has not been officially confirmed.

There are even some fans who are certain that Grand Theft Auto 6 is pretty much complete, with the developer just implementing the finishing touches. However, no one really knows the status of the game, but it feels like it's getting to the point where Rockstar or Take-Two may be making some sort of announcement soon.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently in development.
