Grounded is one of the most entertaining survival titles to ever hit the market, engrossing players with its Honey, I Shrunk the Kids! vibes, set in a world where players find themselves battling against some small dangers. Ants, spiders, and other insects are gargantuan and can be downright deadly in this world. Players will need to use their wits and makeshift weapons to fend off the hungry bugs that they'll encounter on their journey.

Bringing along some friends can help to cull the hordes but players that want the best chance to survive will want to craft themselves some armor. There are a handful of different armor types, with some providing excellent protection against the biting and stinging enemies that are found within the grass-and-dirt-filled biome. But these armor pieces will degrade over time, and players will need to repair them in order to keep them intact. Here's a look at how to repair armor in Grounded to help defend against the monsters lurking in each area.

Once players have an armor set they feel comfortable with, they'll need to make sure they keep it repaired. Each time they take damage from an invading insect, their armor will start to wear down. This effect is greatly amplified if a player is downed by a bug. After too many attacks or too much degradation, the armor will break and players will no longer receive its protection.

Thankfully, players can repair their armor pieces so long as they have a specific item in hand. To repair armor, players will need to find or craft Armor Glue and Super Armor Glue. These are the only items needed, but players will need to first attempt to repair their armor in order to know what item they will need to do so. By right-clicking on an armor piece (or accessing its menu with the appropriate button) players will be able to select the repair function from a dropdown menu. This will then show players what type of glue is needed to fix it up.

Stronger armors will require heftier glue. In order to gain Armor Glue or Super Armor Glue, players can collect the required materials and then piece them together at any Workbench. Here's a look at the materials required for each glue type:

Armor Glue

1 x Woven Fiber

2 x Sap

3 x Mite Fuzz

Super Armor Glue

1 x Berry Leather

4 x Spider Silk

Once players have the glue in their possession, they'll be able to repair whatever armor piece they're worried about. It is important to note that using glue will consume it entirely and will repair the armor to a "like new" state. This works regardless of how damaged the armor is, which means players will lose their glue whether the armor is at 90 percent damage or is only missing a smidgen of its durability. Because of this, it's recommended that players wait until the armor is almost broken before they consume glue to fully repair it.
