The ‘Xbox Live Deal of the Week’ started out pretty weak in its beginnings so long ago, but lately has been offering up some great prices on great titles.  Not only is Microsoft offering great titles for this week’s ‘Xbox Live Deal of the Week’ sale, but they are also having another ‘Inventory Blowout’ sale.

The deals this week feature five great ‘Summer of Arcade’ games from years past.

Here’s the list.  Prices are active from June 14-21.

  • Shadow Complex – 560 Microsoft Points [Normally 1200]
  • Trials HD – 560 Microsoft Points [Normally 1200]
  • Marvel vs. Capcom 2 – 560 Microsoft Points [Normally 1200]
  • ‘Splosion Man – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • TMNT Turtles in Time HD – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]

The ‘Inventory Blowout’ sale runs from June 16-22, and includes these games.

  • A Kingdom for Keflings – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • Alien Hominid HD – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • Banjo Tooie – 800 Microsoft Points [Normally 1200]

  • Bomberman LIVE – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • Braid – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]

  • Castlevania Symphony of the Night – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • Contra – 240 Microsoft Points [Normally 400]
  • Crystal Defenders – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • Magic the Gathering – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • N+ – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • Panzer General – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • Portal – 800 Microsoft Points [Normally 1200]
  • TMNT: 1989 Arcade – 240 Microsoft Points [Normally 400]
  • Uno Rush – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]
  • Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment – 800 Microsoft Points [Normally 1200]
  • Zombie Apocalypse – 400 Microsoft Points [Normally 800]

There are some really great games across those two lists.  If you haven’t picked up Shadow Complex, ‘Splosion Man, Trials HD, Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars 2, or N+, I would really recommend doing so while they’re on sale.  They are some of my favorite XBLA games, and the prices are simply fantastic.
