Some gamers enjoy hunting for trophies in Grand Theft Auto in order to hear the ding that accompanies a trophy. Rockstar Games is known for its hard trophy lists, with entries such as Red Dead Redemption II and Grand Theft Auto IV requiring the player to perform tasks that can take hours to complete.

While some players prefer to go for the easier trophies, some opt to challenge themselves and try to complete the more difficult ones to add to the fun of the game. With games by Rockstar, this level of difficulty is easy to find.

10 Hard: Live a Little

To get this trophy, players must buy $8,000,000 worth of vehicles released with The Heist update. While it is likely to gain that much money from completing all of the heists, the odds of players wanting to spend that money is very unlikely. It is worth buying helicopters and sports cars, but that will not be enough.

With a price that high, it will take a bit of time to fully unlock this trophy. When players do, they will have a nice armory of cars at the very least.

9 Easy: Crew Cut

This trophy requires the player to complete an online mission with their crew. This should come easy, as this could mean any of the missions that are offered by the characters in Grand Theft Auto Online. If someone is playing on the PS4, it also is very likely they already earned this trophy.

If players transfer their PS3 characters who already have this trophy, it will unlock automatically on the PS4 version. This makes it easier, too, as users could do absolutely nothing and achieve it on the PS4.

8 Hard: Solid Gold, Baby!

This trophy requires the player to unlock 70 gold medals on any story mission or Strangers and Freaks mission. Luckily, a lot of Strangers and Freaks missions do not have time limits and have simple objectives for the player to achieve. It is the story missions that add a lot of the challenge.

Finding the right mission to complete is a must, and after the trophy appears players can breathe a sigh of relief. They can now go back to replaying missions for fun.

7 Easy: Orbital Obliteration

This trophy requires a player to kill another player with an orbital cannon in Grand Theft Auto Online. Players will need to buy a bunker and upgrade it to access the orbital cannon. With $1000, this trophy is easy to earn.

The player is able to lock on to another user, making it very easy to get a kill with the cannon. But be careful when leaving the bunker, as the killed player can come to seek revenge. Or, at least, they might send some very mean messages.

6 Hard: San Andreas Sightseer

This requires the player to reveal the entire map. This means leaving no grey spaces at all, which can be very hard to do. There are tiny islands around the coast of San Andreas, and the entirety of these islands must be uncovered.

The best way to do this is to fly around the map in a plane, trying to uncover all of the mountains and peaks around the map. By the end of this trophy, players might just know San Andreas very well.

5 Easy: Numero Uno

This trophy requires a player to win all of the competitive game types in Grand Theft Auto Online. This might sound hard, but it really is not that much. It requires the player to win all race types, deathmatch, gang attacks, survival, and the mini-games found around the map.

Playing with friends will make this trophy that much easier to get. Plus, it is a fun way to experience everything offered by Grand Theft Auto Online.

4 Hard: Above the Law

Reaching level 100 will take a little bit of time. With the inclusion of heists, it makes this trophy a little easier and a bit more fun to achieve. Despite this, it will most likely take a lot of effort to finally reach level 100.

Luckily, transferring a multiplayer character from another console will keep the level of that player. This is useful if a player was close to level 100 on PS3, making it so they do not have to start over from level 1.

3 Easy: Kifflom!

Players must play as Michael de Santa and join the Epsilon Program to get this trophy. Going through all of the steps and then reaching the top of the religion will unlock this trophy. Along with this trophy, players are able to get a unique car and about $2 million.

After getting to the last part of this side mission, the player can get into a shootout with the program and kill a lot of the members. If players do not do this, their only reward – along with this trophy – will be a rusty tractor.

2 Hard: A Mystery, Solved

This trophy requires players to find collectibles around the map. Because the player will most likely need a map to find all of them, it makes this trophy one of the hardest ones in the game. When all collectibles are found, they can read a note that uncovers a huge secret in Vinewood.

This side mission is related to the murder of an actress from the past and collecting scraps of letters to find out who did it. When all are found, the player must go to the person and confront them. They can be killed, and then the trophy will appear.

1 Easy: Out of Your Depth

The player must be eaten by a shark for this trophy to unlock. Going out into the deeper waters around San Andreas will have a shark appear. All the player has to do is let the shark eat them.

This trophy is a fun one to get, and the description is a nice reference to Jaws. A red dot on the radar means a shark is near, and so is this trophy.
