Without a doubt, plenty of gamers would love to see Rockstar Games decide to release some of its classic projects by putting them out once again as official remasters, with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas being chief among the older titles fans crave to have receive a total visual overhaul. While this likely won't be happening anytime soon, fans will now at least be able to revisit the game by way of its inclusion to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility catalog.

As it so happens, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas isn't the only Rockstar Games title announced today for inclusion in Xbox One's Backward Compatibility program. In fact, the GTA entry from 2004 is going to be added alongside the likes of Midnight Club: Los Angeles and Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis, with all three titles set to become available in the library next Thursday, June 7, 2018.

For those unaware, the three aforementioned titles aren't the only projects from Rockstar Games that have graced the Xbox One's Backward Compatibility program. Not too long ago, the developer announced the additions of such as Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto 4, and Bully: Scholarship Edition. Should the trend continue, we might see even more fan-favorite games from the company join the console's Backward Compatibility library in the near future.

All things considered, there will surely be a bevy of folks who are excited to boot up Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on their Xbox One and remind themselves why it's generally considered to be one of the best entries in the franchise in the first place. Until then, though, perhaps fans will bide their time by trying to finish Big Smoke's fast food order before the title becomes available via Backward Compatibility.
