In the modern age, video game developers are constantly striving to reach new levels of realism. From the impressive detail of Red Dead Redemption 2's horses to the technically astounding mechanics of cords in The Last of Us 2, modern games have managed to do some amazing things. While realism was important in the past too for some games, others were never terribly concerned with it. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is one such game that wasn't popular thanks to how realistic it is, but one fan has pointed out a discrepancy that will make even GTA players scratch their heads.

This is a prime example of video game logic, a situation in which the opposite of what one might expect to happen in the real world occurs. Developers have to hard code every detail of a game, so it's understandable that they might miss a few things. Redditor kvrga06 points out this hilarious interaction between the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' Rhino tank and the BMX bicycle.

In every Grand Theft Auto game, if a vehicle takes too much damage, it will eventually explode. This is true of motorcycles, cars, armored trucks, helicopters, and even tanks. Surprisingly, this logic doesn't apply to bicycles in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and the bicycle is actually more durable than the tank in some ways. The meme below from kvrga06's post showcases this exact scenario, pointing out the fact that the Rhino tank can be destroyed while the BMX bicycle cannot be destroyed by any means whatsoever.

It isn't even terribly difficult to destroy a tank in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, as a few molotovs will do the trick just as fast as it would on a normal car. By contrast, the bicycle pictured above could sit in napalm or be shot by rockets and it wouldn't have a single scratch on it. It clearly wasn't a priority of the devs to make destructible bicycles, but it definitely makes for a funny situation. Other Redditors in the comments point out some more oddities within Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, such as the the airport stairs that can explode.

This also brings to mind Grand Theft Auto 5's infamous invincible train. Players have been attempting everything under the sun to actually derail the thing, and nothing seems to work. One Redditor even comments about the train on the post, perhaps insinuating that the bike and the train should clash. What might happen when two indestructible objects meet?

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is available now on Mobile, PC, PS2, and Xbox.
