Rockstar Games continues to update Grand Theft Auto Online with new content through regular updates and players come back regularly to complete it. One regular GTA Online player recently spotted something in the sky that has seemingly gone unnoticed by most fans of the game.

Reddit user No-Bee-3608 recently posted a clip from Grand Theft Auto Online in which they repeatedly aim at the sky with their sniper rifle. Although it's somewhat visible without the zoom, No-Bee-3608 was able to illustrate with their sniper rifle that there's a large blue circle in the GTA Online sky. The Grand Theft Auto Online player was specifically aiming their sniper rifle between several power lines near the overpass outside of Los Santos Bag Co.

The blue circle that No-Bee-3608 spotted in the GTA Online sky also had a cloud within it, showing that it's basically a different colored sky. This may suggest that this small part of the GTA Online skybox has an error that makes it appear a lighter shade of blue and white. With GTA 5 coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S soon, this blue circle in the GTA Online sky may disappear or become more vivid.

Not to be confused by the blue dot that randomly appears on GTA Online players' mini-map, this blue circle is a subtle detail in the world that players may not notice if they don't know where to look. Based on No-Bee-3608's clip, it's unclear if this blue circle in the sky is visible from multiple angles or locations. Furthermore, the Grand Theft Auto Online sky may have more than one imperfections that players have yet to pick up on as another player recently experienced an issue in the sky with GTA Online's UFO.

Previous Grand Theft Auto titles have included interesting details in the skybox similar to this blue circle in GTA Online. Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and Vice City notably featured a moon in the sky that would increase in size as players unloaded clips of ammunition into it. Several Reddit users reminisced on this classic GTA feature as they anticipate the release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition.

Although this blue circle in the sky could simply represent an issue with the Grand Theft Auto Online skybox when using a sniper rifle, it may tease something coming to GTA Online. GTA Online is a live service that's constantly added on and the blue circle may tease a new location or the color of the next-gen Grand Theft Auto Online skybox. Because GTA Online isn't void of bugs and glitches, this blue circle in the sky may be a bug that's associated with the sniper rifle.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions coming in March 2022.
