Rockstar Games has kept the good times consistently rolling with Grand Theft Auto Online, the studio's stalwart revenue earning machine. Eager to keep gamers logging back on to the streets of Los Santos, the studio has now announced that a hybrid supercar called the Ocelot XA-21 is currently available in Grand Theft Auto Online. Gamers can purchase the supercar from in-game car company Legendary Motorsport, and enjoy some double experience bonuses when they clock in this weekend too.

Rockstar confirmed that popular game modes Sumo and Slasher would both have the double experience bonuses applied up until Monday, August 21, 2017. Gamers eager to keep to the streets can still enjoy a separate double experience bonus when they play the relatively new Gunrunning Sell Missions, which involves selling high-tech weaponry in the seedy Los Santos underbelly. Any players who complete one of the aforementioned Gunrunning Sell missions will also get a Black Coil t-shirt for their character.

Here's a snazzy look at the Ocelot XA-21 hybrid supercar itself. It has already proven to be one of the fastest and best handling rides in the game:

The experience bonuses and a hybrid supercar aren't the only changes being implemented this week, however. Rockstar Games has also announced that the Route 68 Bunker will receive a 25% discount until next Monday. Bunkers were added in the aforementioned Gunrunning update, and allow gamers to both manufacture and sell weapons and ammunition, hit the personal gun range,  and more or less run their gunrunning empire from a lair Dr. Evil would be proud of.

The Warstock Cache & Carry in-game website will also be fielding 25% discounts until Monday on the following products:

  • HVY APC
  • Vom Feuer Anti-Aircraft Trailer
  • JoBuilt Phantom Wedge
  • Mammoth Hydra
  • Buckingham Valkyrie

There is also a 25% discount on gunrunning clothing and tattoos, and gamers looking to find some speed outside of the Ocelot XA-21 will have access to two Premium Race and Time Trial events before they conclude on Monday. The premium race is called Plumet II and is locked to super vehicles, while the Tongva Valley time trial allows for a wider selection of rides. The latest weekly event may not be sending gamers to space, but one certainly can't say Rockstar Games isn't doing a good job keeping fresh content on the streets of Los Santos.

Grand Theft Auto Online and its latest updates are available now through Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
