Grand Theft Auto 5 is a game that keeps on giving. It was released on last-generation and has also had a version for next-gen consoles and of course, don't forget about PC. Though in all honesty, the single player of Grand Theft Auto 5 was loved but is not where the current heart of the title lies. The core of the game is its online functionality with Grand Theft Auto Online.

Online has received update after update, with new cars, new planes, group heists, and now people can even start managing their own clubs and businesses. But there are a number of other ways for fans to spend their hard-earned heist money, including blowing it on these incredibly expensive items.

Updated on April 28, 2012 by Scoot Allan: Fans keep returning to Grand Theft Auto V years after its release because it is a game that allows players to live extreme versions of their lives from the comfort and safety of their own. This includes committing crimes and planning heists, but it also includes spending the ill-gotten gains on frivolous, overpriced cars and planes and helicopters and properties to really indulge in the excess and luxuries of GTA V's exaggerated criminal lifestyle. So to celebrate the option for players to enjoy some of the finer things in life if they have enough cash, we wanted to take a further look at a few more of the most expensive items in GTA V that you should probably buy as soon as possible.

15 The Mammoth Avenger Is A Weaponized Plane With VTOL Capabilities That Costs $3,450,000

The Facilities that were introduced in 2017's The Doomsday Heist Update unlocked a few new vehicles for players to utilize in Grand Theft Auto Online that includes the pricy Mammoth Avenger, which will set players back $3,450,000.

Not only is the Avenger fully weaponized to elevate it above other planes in the game, but it also has Vertical-Take-Off-And-Lift capabilities that allow it to hover and take off without needing a runway to make it competition for other helicopters in GTA V as well.

14 Rockstar Games Finally Introduced The Mammoth Thruster Jetpack, But It Costs $3,657,500

Mammoth Thruster in Grand Theft Auto 5

After years of teases tied into the ongoing mystery of Mt. Chilead that was put together by fans in search of the rumored jetpack, Rockstar Games finally introduced the Mammoth Thruster during The Doomsday Heist Update.

The jetpack more than lived up to fan's expectations as it was weaponized, fast, and able to fit into places other hovering vehicles like helicopters would never be able to, though it's not the most efficient vehicle in a battle, making some question the expensive $3,657,500 price tag.

13 Players Can Finally Purchase Their Own TM-02 Khanjali Tank For $3,850,350

Khanjali Tank in Grand Theft Auto 5

The TM-20 Khanjali Tank isn't the first heavily armored tank that players have been able to buy in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, though it is one of the best and most expensive with a price tag of #3,850,350, though players can reduce that cost to $2,895,000 by completing The Doomsday Heist missions.

Unlike other options like the Rhino Tank, the Khanjali can carry other crew members who can operate independent weapon systems and can also be called to anywhere in Los Santos, which is yet another improvement over the limited options provided for The Rhino drop-off points.

12 The Pegassi Oppressor Mk II Is A Hard To Control But Insanely Fun Hoverbike That Costs Over $3,890,250

Pegassi Oppressor Mk II Hoverbike flying in Grand Theft Auto 5

Rockstar Games gave fans another flying vehicle during the After Hours update that was released in 2018 with the Pegassi Oppressor Mk II, an incredibly powerful hoverbike that also happens to be weaponized with missiles for the low price of $3,890,250.

The Oppressor Mk II isn't the easiest vehicle to control and can be a bit overpowered in confrontations, but it is incredibly fun to fly around Los Santos on a jet-powered hoverbike and can be incredibly useful in missions once it is mastered.

11 The Declasse Scramjet Is A Weaponized Supercar Worth $4,628,400

The Declasse Scramjet in Grand Theft Auto 5

This car, like the Buckingham Pyro, is also only available to be purchased from users playing the next-gen version of Grand Theft Auto 5. The Declasse Scramjet is not an ordinary car; it's actually a weaponized supercar that got added in the After Hours update in 2018. It can be purchased from Warstock Cache & Carry for $4,628,400.

Oddly enough, this supercar comes in at 16th place on the supercars list, which is strange as the Declasse Scramjet is weaponized; it can just explode all other cars out of the way. To get the trade discount down to $3,480,000 for this vehicle, you have to win a round of the Hunting Pack (Remix) Adversary Mode.

10 The Imponte Deluxo Is A Flying Trip Back In Time For Only $4,721,500

The Imponte Deluxo in Grand Theft Auto 5

Like the Declasse Scramjet, the Imponte Delux is also a weaponized vehicle, but from the Sports Classic type. This vehicle can only be purchased from users playing the next-gen version of GTA 5. This Sports Classic car is based on the DeLorean from the Back To The Future movies, which means this car can fly.

This pricey helicopter can be brought from Elitás Travel for $5,150,000. Sadly, this vehicle can not be purchased at a trade price, so players will have to fork out over $5 million to buy this gold-colored helicopter.

Imponte Ruiner 2000 in Grand Theft Auto 5

The Imponte Ruiner 2000 is the first muscle car on this list that was added to the title in the Import/Export update of December 2016, and it might look strangely familiar to some people. Well, this car is actually based on KITT, from the TV show Knight Rider.

The Knight Rider car can be purchased from Warstock Cache & Carry for $5,745,600. But, to get it at the lower trade price of $3,550,000, you have to have finished the related Special Vehicle Work Mission. Though Ruiner 2000 should be ranked #1 for David Hasselhoff. Alas, it ranks number #11 out of all Muscle Cars.

The Facility in Grand Theft Auto 5

Players gained the option to buy their own underground facilities thanks to The Doomsday Heist update which unlocked The Doomsday Heist itself while also providing new vehicles and a workshop to upgrade them.

Facilities operate like Bunkers and Motorcycle Clubs and can range in price as they are upgraded with specialty luxuries like a highly-trained strike team, reaching up to $5,767,500. The Facility also gives players access to their own Orbital Cannon, which costs between $500,00-$750,000 per daily shot to further increase the ongoing cost of the Facility.

The Aquarius Yacht in Grand Theft Auto 5

In Grand Theft Auto 5, it is entirely possible to buy a Yacht, and, if you've got the cash, why not? The elite and luxurious yachts were added with the Executives and Other Criminals update back in December 2015.

Three different types of yachts are available to be purchased, starting from $8,000,000. However, it's possible to upgrade these yachts for aesthetic purposes only, such as lighting and gold plated fittings, etc. But, sadly, as this yacht is classed as a property, it's not possible to drive it around.

1 The Buckingham Luxor Deluxe Is A Gold-Plated Plane That Costs $10,000,000

Buckingham Luxor Deluxe in Grand Theft Auto 5

Here it is, the most expensive item in all of the updates that Grand Theft Auto 5 has received over the years, the gold-plated Buckingham Luxor Deluxe. The Luxor Deluxe is available for all versions of Grand Theft Auto 5 and was added into the game with the Ill-Gotten Gains update in June 2015.

For a whopping amount of money, the Buckingham Luxor Deluxe is available to be purchased from Elitás Travel for $10,000,000. There is no trade price for this plane, so, of course, players have to pay the ten million outright. $10 million for a plane that is only ranked #24 seems like a bad deal, but hey, at least it's gold.
