Would-be viewers are now receiving error messages and a deeper dive of the websites reveal that the they were updated on March 23, just two days before the rumored reveal.
According to Dexerto, Rockstar typically updates websites for various IPs such as Red Dead Redemption, Bully, and Grand Theft Auto 6 in waves, and since that didn't happen, it seems like something more directed toward GTA 6 specifically. This has led many to believe that these rumors could be true, which means fans of the franchise should keep an eye out for more information tomorrow, and to some degree, it's within a realm of possibility. For example, Red Dead Redemption 2 was teased when Rockstar turned its yellow logo red.
These rumors have also suggested other details for the game, though they do not necessarily correspond. One rumor has suggested that the GTA 6 protagonist would be a single man set in Vice City, while the oldest rumor just stated the Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal date. It's entirely possible one rumor-monger piggybacked off another, so all details should be met with equal measures of salt.
On the other hand, there's a solid chance that this is a incredibly unlikely coincidence that just puts the dates in close proximity. Rockstar could have simply updated websites, per the norm as many companies do, and it has nothing to do with Grand Theft Auto 6 whatsoever. A reveal tomorrow would be incredibly and blow the minds of fans world-wide, with these GTA 6 websites potentially being a tease for that, but fans should take this information with a huge grain of salt.
