The past few weeks have not been very good for Red Dead fans, but it has been good for Grand Theft Auto 6 fans. In order to shift its focus toward Grand Theft Auto 6’s huge expectations, Rockstar has announced that Red Dead Online content is slowing down, to a near halt. Indeed, it seems Rockstar is focusing more and more on GTA 6, but outside of that, nothing else is officially known.

There have been tons of Grand Theft Auto 6 rumors and leaks over the years, most of which are likely false. All rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, especially because it’ll likely be months, if not years, before Rockstar confirms anything. However, some internet sleuths think they may have found something related to the game.

Over on GTAForums (and as reported by Dexerto), fans found the resume of actress Natonia Monet online. Her resume listed an appearance in a video game named as “Fireball,” playing as a character named Tamara. Fans think this is tied to Grand Theft Auto 6 because the agency for the actress on this job has ties to Rockstar Games.

In other words, her resume could suggest that Grand Theft Auto 6’s codename is Fireball, and she is playing a character in it named Tamara. It’s unknown whether she is a main character or a side character, but what really sets this theory off is that Monet’s resume has since been updated. Shortly after the find and fans made the connection to GTA 6, all references to Fireball and Tamara were removed.

Now, this could have happened for any number of reasons, such as the discovery itself, and not necessarily the corresponding rumors and speculation that Fireball is Grand Theft Auto 6. But still, there are a lot of dots here that would be left unconnected if this weren’t true. It should be taken with a grain of salt with all rumors, but if any future Grand Theft Auto 6 trailers include a character named Tamara, that may very well prove it.

At the same time, if any reliable documentation crops up referring to GTA 6 as fireball, that could be another point here. Chances are, though, fans still have a wait on their hands before anything legitimate about Grand Theft Auto 6 surfaces.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is in development.
