Excitement grows as the rapper 50 Cent hints at his possible involvement in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6, with possible news to come soon. Rockstar Games has been remaining silent on anything relating to Grand Theft Auto 6, and the world has been waiting for any hint of news ever since the infamous leaks from last year.

Grand Theft Auto 5 was released back in 2013, with its online multiplayer mode releasing not long after, with many speculating already what the next game will be. Despite several re-releases of GTA 5 on newer platforms and many new content updates for Grand Theft Auto Online, Rockstar Games has not given much info about what Grand Theft Auto 6 will entail. It remained as such until September 2022, when there was a sudden massive leak as one channel uploaded more than 20 leaked videos of GTA 6 gameplay to the internet, showcasing plenty of footage of the game. This was an event that shook both Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive, and since that leak, there hasn't been anything new.

That could be changing, as there is hope the gaming world will hear something about GTA 6 soon. The rapper 50 Cent took to Instagram today and posted a picture of a brightly colored logo that says "Vice City" in the same font as it is for the logo of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the setting of which is also supposedly the location Grand Theft Auto 6 will take place in. Alongside this picture, the rapper wrote "I will explain this later," hinting that not only is something about Grand Theft Auto potentially coming out soon but that 50 Cent himself is going to be involved in it.

Fans in the comments began to speculate what this could mean, with some saying that it's going to be a Grand Theft Auto TV series, while others are saying that it means he'll be in the next Grand Theft Auto game. The latter wouldn't be surprising, as 50 Cent is no stranger to video games, being a part of a couple himself. In addition, back in 2018, 50 Cent said he'd like to make another game.

Celebrities being used to promote or tease upcoming games is nothing new in the industry. In 2019, Keanu Reeves both starred in and promoted Cyberpunk 2077, announced in a presentation at the Xbox presentation during E3 2019. With 50 Cent possibly promoting the next Grand Theft Auto game, the question is how involved he will be, whether he plays a character in the game, or if it will just include some of his music. For now, fans will have to wait, but it seems the wait for official GTA 6 news might finally be over soon.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently in development.
