Evidence and rumors of a Grand Theft Auto 6 and its details continue to mount. Most recently, comments from GTA 5's Trevor voice actor Steven Ogg suggested that the game will be Rockstar Games' next title and, further, a document detailing a scout team from Rockstar Games heading to Florida indicates the next game's location.

The Grand Theft Auto games have taken place across locations based on very iconic American cities in the past, including those based on Los Angeles and New York City. While there are plenty of locations fans would like to see covered in a Grand Theft Auto 6, an image of one piece of correspondence suggests that the series will be returning to Florida, as was the case in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Posted to Twitter by user Yan2295, the alleged correspondence from Rockstar indicates that the developer is sending out a research team to various Flordia locations "for their video games." The goal is "to tour and photograph various interesting locations" in Florida so that the developer known for its immersive open-world games can provide as much detail as possible.

The pictured letter details the process of the Rockstar team's scouting, including four to six people conducting a scout for about one to two hours. According to the letter, Rockstar is interested in interior spaces, so it is asking for permission to scout various properties via signatures on a release form. The letter concludes by thanking those to whom the letter was sent for their "time, consideration and support!"

While the Grand Theft Auto 6 letter seems credible on the face of it, a couple of details have stood out to readers of the letter that make it seem less than credible. First, the letter's seventh paragraph begins, "If everything sounds okay and looks good, then please sign the release and send it back to me via email." Many have questioned the legitimacy of the phrase "If everything sounds okay and looks good," due to its lack of professionalism, which is something a letter of this nature would more than likely entail.

A second detail some have focused on and criticized the letter for is the use of "Rockstar," instead of "Rockstar Games" throughout the body of the letter. This also indicates a lack of professionalism and has suggested to many that the letter may be fan-written and done so to deceive readers.

If the letter is accurate and Rockstar is actually scouting Florida for a Grand Theft Auto 6 or another title, then the letter's content falls in line with what fans believe to be among Grand Theft Auto 6's likeliest locations. If the letter is a fake as many suspect, then it definitely calls into question rumors moving forward and will have readers contemplating the actual location of the next title in the Grand Theft Auto series.
