It’s no secret that Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series, while a consistent Game of the Year contender, has its fair share of absurd moments. From kooky characters to insane situations, GTA knows that the best way to keep players invested is to engage them and entertain them at the same time.

With the release of Grand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar Games took that entertainment to new heights (literally) by way of the character of Trevor. Trevor is Grand Theft Auto 5’s wildcard, an insane criminal who will do and say whatever he pleases. Well, as long as it’s within the confines of Rockstar’s game.

However, even those guidelines are flexible, as evidenced by the below NSFW GIF (from an Abstract Mode video). In the clip, Trevor’s regular, clothed character model is replaced with his naked one, which makes for some hilarious cutscenes.

Similar to the goofy ragdoll cutscene mod from a few months back, this pants-less Trevor mod doesn’t do much to add to the Grand Theft Auto 5 conversation. It’s not like the Superman mod that makes players capable of flying around Los Santos and it doesn’t turn them into various animals. This mod is more about generating a quick laugh and, to be honest, there’s nothing wrong with that.

Luckily, Grand Theft Auto 5 has two additional protagonists – Michael and Franklin – to help balance out Trevor’s insanity. The triple protagonist concept was rather unique for an open world game, and the freedom to switch between those characters on the fly made it so players could keep things fresh the whole way through. Now, if every time players switched to Trevor he wasn’t wearing pants that might take things even a step further. Actually, come to think of it, there was more than a few times where Trevor showed up in Los Santos in a compromising situation.

Since it released for last-gen consoles back in 2013, Grand Theft Auto 5 has been on a fast tear through the gaming industry. Not only was it one of the fastest and best selling games in history, but also the current-gen ports of the game have kept it consistently on the top sellers list for close to two years. Needless to say, if there is an expiration date for the Grand Theft Auto 5 train, it’s not coming any time soon.

Do you wish that games had more pants less options for main characters? Where does Trevor rank on your insanity scale for protagonists?
