It's been nearly eight years since Grand Theft Auto 5 was released and players have completed every quest, discovered every hidden easter egg, and done just about everything there is to do within the game. That hasn't stopped them from playing, however. Now, players are mostly just messing around and having fun with what the game still has to offer. One Grand Theft Auto 5 player recently showed off their skills with a plane by flying through a tightly enclosed area.

Reddit use u/your_reddit_lawyerII posted a clip of themself flying a plane through a tunnel. What makes it more impressive is they also weave through pillars in the median and dodge incoming cars. They did it flawlessly with not a bump or scratch along the way. It's a pretty impressive feat.

There are no achievements to earn by performing tricks like that, which might make someone wonder why anyone would do it at all. The fact remains that, according to leaks, the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 is a long way away, so this is really the best players have for now. Plus, Grand Theft Auto 5 is still a lot of fun to play.

There has been no solid information from Rockstar Games on the sequel, which has spurred plenty of discussions and created countless memes on the subject. While no official announcement has been made, it appears the company may have left behind a Grand Theft Auto 6 tease in Red Dead Redemption 2 that was only recently discovered. According to an analysis from a YouTuber, there is a hidden message within a letter that can be found within the game that provides hints to the sequel's setting.

That setting in question, Vice City, is a familiar one to those who have played past games in the series. There's been no official confirmation on this either, but the Grand Theft Auto 6 Vice City rumors were recently fueled by a Rockstar Games employee after a post on social media. They posted a picture of South Beach Miami with a caption in pink text, which all seem to indicate some connection to the fictional east coast city.

While players wait for the sequel to arrive, they can always dip back into older titles in the franchise. Some are definitely better than others, and there is a fairly clear Grand Theft Auto games tier list, so it'd be beneficial to stick with the best the series has to offer. Grand Theft Auto 5 ranks as one of the highest, which is probably why people keep coming back to it, even if it's just to fly around in tunnels.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is out now for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
