Major ‘Grand Theft Auto 5’ Details Coming in November

By | 4 years ago

When the next intallment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise was first revealed back in October 2011, gamers went into a frenzy of anticipation for the game. We’ve since learned that that the title will return players to Los Santos. Outside of the locale, however, all gamers have had to go on is a handful of screenshots that Rockstar Games has humoured their fan base with from time to time. It’s been a long wait, but details on the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 5 are finally being prepared to hijack news feeds everywhere in just over a week’s time.

Game Informer originally announced that GTAV would be prominently featured on the cover of the December issue back in October, and today GI announced when readers can expect the issue to be released digitally — and more importantly, when additional details pertaining to the actual game will arrive. Grab your calendar, because the December issue of Game Informer magazine will be available digitally on November 8th.

If reading on an iPad, Android device, or computer isn’t your thing, then it may be beneficial to know that the physical issue will land on newsstands on November 16.

The feature on Grand Theft Auto 5 will take up 18 pages, which is a good sign that many fans will have a lot of new information on the game coming to them in a very short amount of time. The magazine will also have a lot more than just details too, and gamers can definitely expect to see some brand new screenshots — as well as some promotional art.

Even though little is known about the fifth Grand Theft Auto, the game’s developer appears to be very tuned in to feedback from the last major iteration. Rockstar Games is already asking fans for advice on the game’s multiplayer, and it’s easy to imagine that the same effort has been put into making the single-player experience great as well. While gamers can only speculate on what awaits them in the next GTA, it’s comforting to know that some concrete details will be landing in the not too distant future.

In the meantime, anxious fans awaiting the latest issue of Game Informer can find comfort in re-watching the Grand Theft Auto 5 trailer that was released late last year.
