Gotham Knights has quite a few villains that cause trouble in Gotham City. And since Batman died, there's been an increase in crime while they take advantage of his absence. Puzzles are one of many obstacles players will face as they navigate through the main story and side quests to thwart any criminal plans.

At one point in Gotham Knights, players will start Case File 7.2, focusing on the League of Shadows, specifically their leader Talia and her place of operation. There, players get an opportunity to investigate and find the answer to what is happening between the League of Shadows and the Court of Owls, another secret society wreaking havoc in Gotham. The puzzle will be a multiple-choice question, and players will need to find the correct matchups before they can move forward in the mission.

Finding Talia's Lab

Gotham Knights Arkham Asylum

Talia's lab is discovered in Arkam Asylum after she reveals herself to be working against the Knights rather than with them, as she has made it seem up till that point. Arkam Asylum has been long abandoned, so the League of Shadows has set up shop there to perform experiments of some kind directly related to the Lazarus Pit — a mysterious pit that contains a green source of energy that has the ability to bring people back to life. Players are sent to Arkam and must make their way inside the desolate building to keep searching for clues to try and predict her next move.

Talia's Lab Investigation

Gotham Knights Lab Investigation

Inside the main building, directly to the left, is a set of staircases that leads up to a research area. Talia's lab is very similar to Langstrom's, and there is a large green containment pod next to one of the desks where players can use their AR to scan. It appears to be empty as there aren't any vitals detected there. The investigation puzzle is found on a desk against the left wall. It looks like Talia has advanced Langstrom's research, and players need to find out how. On the table are four DNA Serums and four Genetic Marker Groups, along with a lab notebook and a list of volunteers for human trials of some kind. Each serum gives the subject certain traits, such as aggression and abilities, but has had different results. Players need to answer two questions:

  • How did Talia advance Langstrom's research?
  • What was Talia trying to achieve?

How to Solve the Puzzle

The first question can be answered by selecting a suitable serum. If players look on the volunteer sheet, it reads that they were injected with Serum v24.07. It is the second serum and is pink. Next, find the correlating Genetic Marker Group, which can also be found by studying the volunteer list. It says the only surviving volunteer is from Genetic Marker Group M, the third Group Marker on the machine. Mark it and the serum, and then click solve to set in the answers.

Gotham Knights is available for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
