Warner Bros. Interactive has two major games releasing this fall/holiday season, and it’s about time the publisher opened the floodgates on at least one of these titles. Many know that Hogwarts Legacy is set to release this holiday season, barring any delays, and Gotham Knights is set to release in October. Not much has been officially shown on the latter, at least not in recent weeks.

Gotham Knights will let players step into the shoes of Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, or Red Hood. Recently, an updated game profile potentially revealed that, instead of the announced two-player co-op, Gotham Knights may actually support four-player co-op. This would let every member of the Bat-family get in on the action, but at least for tomorrow, two of the characters will be shown.

WB Games Montreal recently posted on the official Gotham Knights Twitter page a “mission update from the Belfry,” the game’s likely hub. It reveals that Nightwing and Red Hood will be “at” the Powers Club at 6 am PT/8 am CT/9 am ET on May 10. In other words, players will be getting to check out new details on Nightwing and Red Hood tomorrow. Exactly what remains to be seen, but there are some likely options.

It's unlikely to be a simple trailer, so hopefully, this means some gameplay of Nightwing and Red Hood will be revealed. Each character has some ability or unique playstyle, with Robin being able to teleport thanks to the Justice League satellites and Batgirl being able to summon bats. It’s uncertain what Nightwing and Red Hood’s abilities are as of now, although they likely relate to the former’s staff and Red Hood’s guns.

This also likely means that Gotham Knights' co-op will be brought into view. It would be great if the trailer did confirm the 4 player co-op, but it does seem the showcase will be focused on 2-player instead. What this hopefully means is that players won’t have to wait long to see more of Batgirl and Robin in action, either. Perhaps after that there could be some gameplay of all four Bat Family members.

Either way, it’s likely that Gotham Knights marketing will pick up as summer approaches, and there’s still plenty of time to share all the various features and mechanics in the game. There will still likely be several secrets heading into the game, such as the fate of Batman in Gotham Knights.

Gotham Knights releases October 25 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
