Gotham Knights has its fair share of criticisms, but nothing justifies the game’s lack of tutorials for something as basic as acquiring health packs. Aggressive Gotham Knights players will need all the health they can get to take down the foes that are littered throughout Gotham City.

While Gotham Knights may not explicitly state how players can get more health packs, it is not that complicated. Here's everything there is to know about getting more health packs in Gotham Knights and other helpful tidbits.

Getting More Health Packs in Gotham Knights

Gotham Knights Gotham University

There are a couple of ways players can go about getting more health packs in Gotham Knights; they are as follows:

  • The quickest way to get more health kits is by returning to Belfry. Upon returning to Belfry, the chosen hero will recover fully and get seven health kits for the next night. Unfortunately, this option is not viable for players that need health packs on the same night.
  • Players who want to continue patrolling but need health packs should keep their eyes peeled for ambulances. Once an ambulance is found, players will find a chest that can give more health kits.

Ambulances are typically found at crime scenes, but do not wait too long after solving a crime to prevent an altercation with the police.

  • Players will be unable to find ambulances during missions, thus preventing them from getting more health packs. For this reason, players should make the most of their combat abilities to take down large brutes. Once an enemy brute has been defeated, they will drop health kits.

After completing the patrol tutorial, brutes can also be found committing crimes throughout Gotham City.

How to Use Health Packs in Gotham Knights

Players can use health packs by pressing the following buttons:

  • Right on D-Pad on a PlayStation controller.
  • Right on D-Pad on an Xbox controller.
  • Z on the keyboard.

Gotham Knights Batgirl Spotlight

Players having difficulty staying alive should switch to Batgirl instead of looking for health packs.

Batgirl’s skill trees are packed with handy abilities that boost her base HP and defense and grant passive healing. Eventually, players can also unlock a self-revive skill that will be incredibly handy during the toughest of battles.

Gotham Knights is available on PC, Xbox Series S/X, and PlayStation 5.
