Aside from the main story, God of War Ragnarok offers players an impressive amount of side quests to pursue. Referred to in-game as Favors, these optional objectives often tell smaller stories throughout the Realms and add more depth to characters that would be otherwise missed by players if they focused solely on the main story. Beyond story, Favors often give players access to a unique set of rewards.

One example of this is The Mysterious Orb. While the main objective is to find the Orb, players will also find pieces of Lunda's Armor that can be restored and worn by Kratos. Some of the pieces are tricky to locate, and this guide will show players where to find Lunda's Broken Cuirass.

There are three chests that contain the broken pieces of Lunda's Armor. No matter which order that God of War Ragnarok players go after the chests, the order in which of the pieces they get is fixed. The order the broken pieces are obtained is Broken Belt, Broken Bracers, and then finally Broken Cuirass. So in order for players to obtain Lunda's Broken Cuirass, they will need to find all three chests.

The First Chest

The first of the chests can be found when God of War Ragnarok players first enter the Veiled Passage which is located in Vanaheim. In the area where players can dock their boat, they will see a chest with glowing red light. If this is the first chest that players find, they will get the Broken Belt.

The Second Chest

The second of the three chests can be found when further exploring the Veiled Passage. As God of War Ragnarok players navigate through a series of caves, they will eventually end up in another area of the Cliffside Ruins. There, they will need to lower the bridge and move toward a hole in the wall of a room. Inside this room is one of the chests, and if it is the second one that players have found they will obtain the Broken Bracers.

The Third Chest

The third chest is in a different area of Vanaheim. Along the river heading toward the Cliffside Ruins is a small area called Noatun's Garden. In this area is a stone mirror that God of War Ragnarok players can remove with the chisel. On the other side of this obstacle is the third and final chest, which will contain Lunda's Broken Cuirass if players have found all the other chests at this point.

What's Needed to Craft Lunda's Armor?

Once God of War Ragnarok players have obtained the broken pieces of armor, they can take them to Sindri and Brok and fix the armor into gear for Kratos. Simply acquiring the armor will only require exchanging the broken version. Beyond that point, upgrading the armor will require resources like Hacksilver.

God of War Ragnarok is available now for PS4 and PS5.
