God of War Ragnarok players who are hoping to increase their health and rage meters are going to have to find and open a lot of Nornir Chests. There are 35 of them in total, though, thankfully, players will only need to open 30 to max out both of their meters and unlock the associated trophy, with the last five chests containing other rewards.

There are ten of these Nornir Chests in Svartalfheim, one of which can be found in the Radsvinn's Rig area. Like a lot of the other Nornir Chests in God of War Ragnarok, this one is fairly hard to miss, though getting it open can be a little tricky, particularly for those who don't know what it is they're looking for.

How to Unlock the Radsvinn's Rig Nornir Chest

To find the Radsvinn's Rig Nornir Chest, players should head for the boat dock by the watchtower and then follow the path around to the right toward the smoke stack. After climbing up a few ledges and killing a bunch of enemies, they'll find the chest overlooking the water to the left of the circular area containing the furnace. To open it, they'll have to ignite three torches using Kratos' Blades of Chaos.

As with the Jarnsmida Pitmines Nornir Chest, the first torch that players need to ignite is directly to the left of the chest itself, making it pretty much impossible for players to miss. To light it, players will simply need to switch to the Blades of Chaos, target the torch while holding L2, and then press the R2 button.

To reach the second torch, players should follow the outer wall of the area round to the left until they come to some metal railings. Unfortunately, they won't be able to get the Blades of Chaos through the gaps, but there is another way to light the torch. By climbing onto the wooden structure opposite, players will be able to throw Kratos' Leviathan Axe over the railings to detonate the red bomb, which will light the torch when it explodes.

The final torch is in the area directly behind the forge, though players won't be able to see it right away due to it being behind some barrels. Luckily, these barrels each have metal plates on them that will react to Atreus' Sonic Arrows, so players can have the boy destroy them by targetting the barrels and pressing the Square button. Once the barrels are out of the way, they'll be free to light the torch using the Blades of Chaos.

With all three torches now ignited, players will be able to open the Radsvinn's Rig Nornir Chest. Assuming that they haven't already found 30 of the game's 35 Nornir Chests before this one, it will either contain an Idunn Apple (odd-numbered chests) or a Horn of Blood Mead (even-numbered chests). Idunn Apples will increase the player's maximum health while the horns can be used to increase the size of the Rage meter.

God of War Ragnarok is available now for PS4 and PS5.
