A God of War Ragnarok fan has noticed a peculiar detail about Thor and his armpits. God of War Ragnarok is finally out and breaking records left and right, including selling more copies than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Elden Ring, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus in the UK. Besides the record-breaking commercial success, the latest God of War title has received a warm response from fans and critics alike, making it one of the leading contenders for the Game of the Year title.

Much praise is coming for God of War Ragnarok's story, which follows the father-son duo of Kratos and Atreus as they explore the regions mentioned in Norse mythology. The game's story takes players into each of the nine realms in Norse mythology, unlike its predecessor, where only six were accessible. While exploring the nine realms, Kratos and Atreus encounter several characters, including Thor, the Norse god associated with thunder and lightning. Thor is one of the mightiest beings in God of War Ragnarok, and a gamer has discovered something strange about him.

Reddit user dr_tel shared an image to highlight a peculiar detail about the God of War Ragnarok boss, particularly his armpits. The picture is a screenshot of Thor, where he's raising his right arm and unknowingly revealing his underarms. Strangely, it seems Thor has a habit of shaving his underarms as he doesn't have any hair in that region. It is worth noting that Thor is bearded and has long hair, making it rather odd for him to shave his armpits. Some Reddit users joked about Thor's shaved underarms and said they help him to be more aerodynamic during the fighting, while others said it helps him throw the hammer with greater force.

However, it seems unlikely that Thor has a habit of shaving his armpits, but the more likely explanation is that the developers overlooked it somehow. The devs might fix this in the upcoming God of War Ragnarok patches and add some armpit hair to make it look more realistic.

For those who don't know, Thor is one of the Aesir gods from Norse mythology and one of the pivotal characters in the current era of the God of War franchise. His sons, Magni and Modi, and half-brother, Baldur, died in the previous installment at the hands of Kratos and Atreus. Thor comes to avenge his sons and half-brother in God of War Ragnarok, making him one of the main antagonists.
