God of War Ragnarok's art director, Raf Grassetti, assures fans that, even after the story trailer dropped during PlayStation's State of Play, they still "haven't seen anything yet." The trailer for God of War Ragnarok displays some different cinematics from the game as well as shows off a good amount of gameplay footage captured on the PS5, but Raf Grassetti would like fans to know that there is much more coming.

This is indeed great news for fans, as the trailer definitely reveals a lot of information and shows off many details, so if the art director says that there is so much more in store, God of War Ragnarok is bound to be a robust experience. Throughout the year, as more details about God of War Ragnarok have been announced, the excitement and enthusiasm that fans have been feeling have been rising.

Raf Grassetti's tweet about there being so much more to the game than what was revealed in the story trailer during the State of Play presentation comes just two months before the game is set to release. Reveals like God of War Ragnarok's Svartalfheim Realm gameplay trailer give players more insight into the mechanics of the game as well as the art direction and even sound design. Though many people seem to think that what has been shown off so far doesn't seem to be different enough from the original God of War game, Raf Grassetti's tweet hopefully tells them that there is going to be much more.

There are already so many new gameplay details and mechanics that have been hinted at and revealed for the game, and if Raf Grassetti's tweet is any indication, there is going to be much more when the game is fully released. God of War Ragnarok's new arm shields, expanded combat utilizing Atreus, and traversal mechanics using the Blades of Chaos are but a few of these new features that have been revealed so far.

The original God of War game, released in 2018, is still one of the most popular PlayStation games. God of War Ragnarok is a sequel to that game and is coming out 4 years later, which, for a game as massive as God of War, is quite a short time. Still, Sony knows that players may have forgotten some of the smaller details about the story in the first game, so it released a story recap for God of War to remind the fans of what they need to know before Ragnarok.

In just two months, players will be able to explore the nine realms with Kratos and Atreus once more. Hopefully, they are able to keep Fimbulwinter at bay.

God of War Ragnarok releases November 9 on PS4 and PS5.
